Red Seal Blackstrap Molasses the thickest and darkest variety is exceptionally rich and nutritional.
Molasses is a heavy black syrup produced as a by-product of sugar manufacture. As the sugar cane plant is crushed, ground, heated and cooled to form the white crystals of refined sugar, a black syrupy liquid is left behind. The more sugar that is extracted, the thicker and blacker the molasses becomes. The nutrients are also exceptionally well absorbed.
